We built a spectacular new water complex for 2005 which attracted much interest from spectators as competitors were faced with the prospect of jumping into a lake, crossing water to the island and then splashing back to dry land via a second water crossing.

The water complex is an obstacle for all classes from Pre Novice to Intermediate/OI and involves one of the lakes on the estate, together with a small island.

We used hundreds of tons of stone and gravel to make the two lake crossings the correct depth - bearing in mind that the lake is around 8ft deep at this point it took a lot of filling in!
